Prince Edward County has been a must see for me for the last few years, and I finally had a chance to check it out last summer! It was an absolute dream, and a beautiful getaway. Situated on the Eastern end of Lake Ontario, the Bay of Quinte has some beautiful surrounding towns such as Picton, and Wellington.

Here are some of my favourite must sees when in town!

Lavender is big here, specifically in the June/July months depending on the blooming time. I loved the boutique and lavender farm Millefleurs. Their beard oil, sanitizers, and lavender honey are amazing!

Where to sip

Sandbanks Winery- great wines for great prices. Some of my favourites include French Kiss, Sauvignon Blanc, Route 33 for a beautiful Riesling and Pinot Grigio blend.

Grange of PEC- gorgeous winery with a beautiful barn. Their patio area is perfect for a socially distanced tasting (they have the best kits already pre-portioned) and the picnic park area has the Old Salt Cocktails truck and a sausage grill. So good!

Hinterland Wine Company- the best sparkling wines. The Whitecap Charmat Method and their Cherry Cider are my favourites!

Waupoos Winery and Restaurant- the only waterfront property in PEC, it's a gem! They have a restaurant and an area for wine tastings and retail shopping.

Karlo Estates- their wines are vegan and delicious. The barn here is adorable, and they offer lovely local charcuterie for purchase and to sit in their barnyard and sip on some wine.

Where to stay

I loved the Manse Boutique Inn. This inn is absolutely beautiful, and super intimate with only a certain amount of rooms available. Plus, it's adults only. The food and hospitality here is incredible!

Where to eat

Norman Hardie Restaurant - the pizza they do here is phenomenal, and the Riesling is one of my favourites. The recipe they use is actually used by a lot of Toronto restaurants including Terroni and Pizzeria Libretto.

Slickers Ice Cream Shop - try the Burnt Marshmallow, its to die for!

Drake Devonshire Inn - hard to get a reso, but worth it for the atmosphere. Food was not that impressive, but the vibe here is great if you want to check it out for a drink. A bit pricy though!

The Miller House- beautiful views and great food!

Sand and Pearl Restaurant- If you're a seafood lover, you must check this place out! Their oysters and Fish and Chips were amazing. Tons of fresh seafood and its a seasonal restaurant.
